Broadband for Tiny Houses
Updated 5.12.24
Here are a few options:
Option 1: If you have good 4G/5G reception and don't need to connect to multiple devices at once you might get away with using an unlimited data mobile plan and hot spotting to your computer.
Option 2: You have multiple devices and good 4G coverage, you might want to go for a 4G Wireless Plan, some let you travel around with their wireless modem!
Option 3: Your receptions not that good or it's good and you want to use an unlimited amount of data, look into Satellite plans. Starlink is a popular option. They also have a roam package which is good if you're travelling around in a campervan/caravan.
Option 4: The property you're staying on has Fibre and you may be able to contribute to the wifi and extend the range with a Mesh or TP-Link.
I've been using Starlink for a while and it well however it does better in some areas than others, it has dropped out of coverage every now and again and you need to make sure there are no obstructions where you wish to place the satelite dish. p.s not sponsored by Starlink.
